Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born July 7, 1968 is an American actress. She is most well-known for her role in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst the county of DuPage, Illinois Chicago She was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of a schoolteacher's parents, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. She is of Swedish descent, and has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: The College years and the beginning of a career
She was first introduced to Hollywood through her performance as a background actress in the movie Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. She then followed her elder sister Betsy who attended Knox College in Galesburg.
